Makimsan was established in 1969 for the purpose of producing the asphalt emulsion and generalizing its use.

In a short period of time, the company added the surface treatment, asphalt pavement, superstructure works, airport runway construction, asphalt concrete road and infrastructure systems to its fields of activity.

By providing the first automatic asphalt plant of the private sector to our country, it has become a pioneer in asphalt production and has successfully implemented Polymer Modified Bitumen production through its R&D studies.
