About Us
Makimsan was established in 1969 for the purpose of producing the asphalt emulsion and generalizing its use. In a short period of time, the company added the surface treatment, asphalt pavement, superstructure works, airport runway construction, asphalt concrete road and infrastructure systems to its fields of activity.
By providing the first automatic asphalt plant of the private sector to our country, it has become a pioneer in asphalt production and has successfully implemented Polymer Modified Bitumen production through its R&D studies.
Makimsan has also started a new era in the renewal of asphalt roads by bringing asphalt scrapers to our country for the first time. It has continued to maintain the tradition of being a pioneer company by introducing bituminous mortar coating technology to our country and making its applications.
Makimsan has fulfilled an important need by performing viscous fluid pump production in order to meet the gear pump need of our industry.
In addition, it has expanded its range of services by manufacturing distributor machines, road sweepers, gravel spreaders, mechanical stabilization facilities, emulsion facilities, modified bitumen facilities, bitumen stock facilities, hot oil boilers, joint fillers, cement silos and various bunkers.
Makimsan has gained the function of being a school at the same time for its sectors with its regular trainings carried out in addition to production and engineering works, and continues to add value to its sector by choosing this function as its mission.

Makimsan has become an international contracting company by providing its services also in the countries such as Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Yemen, Romania, Russia and Afghanistan.
Road construction over 2,000 kms long
With the increasing share of highways in transportation since 1969, we have the rightful pride of more than 2,000 km of highway construction that we have carried out in all types and classes to increase the comfort of urban life and also to prevent the loss of life in traffic on important trade routes that include challenging passages.
Over 20 million tons of asphalting works
We have brought the first asphalt plant to our country within a private enterprise and we proceed on our way with the experience of over 20 million tons of asphalt pavement that we manufactured at our domestic/foreign projects that we have completed since that date.
